Team Review
This wakizashi seems to come from the Soden Bizen productions from 1333 in the Nanbokucho era, with Yamato & Soshu influences.

One can see many similarities with the Shikake School of the 13th to 15th Century in the Yamashiro area. This school is known for its strong activity in the Hamon and the Hada.

A very nice set, with a very old Koto blade full of activity (Hataraki).
The symbolic of the mounting, with the chrysantems of the Gunto's Menuki with the imperial symbol.
Another point, the harmony of the full set with the phoenix of the Fuchi Kashira and the dragon of the Tsuba, stands for a perfect balance of the Yin and  the Yang. In the ancient china, these were also the symbols of the Empress and the Emperor.

It's a very fine piece as a set, ideal for a collector.
