Team Review
Study :
The Shimosaka school, originates from the center of Japan ; Echigo is a part of the Echizen Shimosaka branch. The signature  has possibly been modified with the “Kaizan” technique, which is, according to Markus Sesko modifying the signatures to lift the curse. “Shimosaka” became “Taira Kanesaka”. Shimosaka and Kanesaka is from the Kan'ei era (1624-1644), in the Echigo province. Echigo Takada Ju Kanesada, originates from Mino => “Kane”. Takada was an influent fief of Echigo.

Team Review :
Interesting blade with a light Hitatsura quenching line, more marked towards the Boshi.
What is interesting concerning the Signing is the modification to lift the curse, Shimosaka meaning 'waning'.
Very nice Koshirae with a leather imitation.
