Leather Tsuba for Bokken - Meirin
The Tsuba is the guard positioned on a Japanese sabre. Its function is to protect the fingers of the practitioner.
These brown Leather tsuba are Mokko Gata shaped (木 瓜 形), which is a classic and widespread quadrilobate form for Tsuba.
This is Hard Natural Boiled Leather. As it is Natural Leather, the coloring will always vary, so each Tsuba is unique.
The small tsuba is used for wakizashi.
The large tsuba is used for bokken.
