This Men Chichikawa Short is positioned on the lower part of the Mengane and is used to attach the Men in the Kanto style.
This method of attaching the Men requires Himo 7 尺 long (shaku).
This Men Chichikawa is made of genuine leather, flat, has 2 slots to tie the Men Himo correctly.

The Kanto style of fixing the Men is not the most common method. Also this method of lacing the Men is faster than the Kansai version
