The Double Layer is Sakuraya's 100% premium double-layer thick cotton.
Made from a classic "Rice grain" tissue, it is made of a double weave, offering high strength and comfort. It is equivalent to the Iwata 300AS range.
This dogi is reinforced at the Mune (chest) to resist to grabs, reinforced at the shoulders to resist during falls, and finally double at the knees to resist training in Suwariwaza.
Very resistant it will be suitable for the practice of Judo, Jujutsu, but also Aikido and Koryu.
The Double Layer is a high-end product that will satisfy all practitioners, from the simple beginner looking for a good quality Japanese dogi, as for the experienced looking for a thick dogi for intensive practice.
