Hakama Cotton Black

The Hakama Cotton Black -木 綿 黒- is a must for the practitioner who wishes with the quality and class of his cotton hakama, but who wishes to have an intensive practice, without discoloration of his garment.
The fabric becomes slightly shiny with use.
This model is suitable for the intermediate and advanced practitioner looking for tradition with some ease of maintenance compared to indigo.
100% natural Japanese cotton fiber, dyed in the mass, this hakama fades little, it allows to breathe despite its thickness.
With use the cotton fibers soften to the touch, and lose their “rough” side.
Iwata expects only 1% shrinkage to wash this type of Hakama, indicating the high quality of cotton used.

The basic straps of the Iwata hakama are:
- Total front strap length 400cm
- Total rear strap length 180cm
We invite you to consider this point.
In the module, you have the possibility to make a request for a strap extension if necessary.
