Study & Team Review |
Katana Shinshinto of the 19th century taking over the characteristics of the Bizen blades of the Nanbokucho period, with hardening similar to the Hosokawa school of Hosokawa Masayoshi (1758-1858). This blade is a blade that we have restored (Polishing and Shirasaya). The very recent polishing shows a beautiful and beautiful grain Hamon Gunome Midare typical of the tradition of Bizen. The signature is oxidized and does not recognize the Kanji but it is a very beautiful achievement. It is a powerful blade, with O'Kissaki (long tip), as it was done at the time of Muromachi (1336-1573). |
