The Iai Obi Classic is a traditional Obi used for Iaido and Aikido in Japanese martial arts, which require good support. The traditional pattern of this 100% cotton Iai Obi is the kenjō hakata, which has a succession of fine stripes associated with small horizontal geometric shapes that are directly inspired by cult Buddhist utensils. This type of belt is traditionally used on Yukata and Kimono in festival (Matsuri). Soft and resistant, it is an excellent belt for practitioners of Iaido or Aikido who appreciate a good posture.
