Description | From Choshu, now Yamaguchi Prefecture, western Japan. Presence of Kozuka and Kogai Hitsu in the forms of Bamboos. Bamboo embossed patterns (trunks & leaves) in Sukashi techniques (openings). Maru Gata (Round) shapes, with flat Sukidashi edges. Patterns and typical Choshu school work. |
