The Geta (下 駄) are traditional Japanese sandals made of kiri wood.
They are worn with Yukata (light summer kimono) or at festivals.
This is the most classic form of Geta, which has not changed since ancient times. Their two "teeth" make it possible not to sink while walking in the mud during rainy weather, and thus protect his clothes, or his Tabi if one wears them.
In this most famous version, the "teeth" are not interchangeable: the Geta is cut in a single Kiri block.
