This Men Chichikawa long is positioned on the upper part of the Mengane and is used to attach the Men in the Kansai style.
This method of attaching the Men requires Himo 8 尺 long (shaku).
This Men Chichikawa is made of genuine leather, flat, has 3 slots to tie the Men Himo correctly.

The Kansai style of fixing the Men is not the most common method. Those who use it usually say that they have the feeling that their Men is tied more safely and makes them less pressure on the skull.
It should be noted that this method of lacing is longer than with Men Himo which attach in part low (Kanto method), and is less usual.
