The Aikido Gi Meirin is a premium Aikidogi, similar to Iwata's Miyabi Cotton (雅- elegance/ refinement).
This dogi is only sold for the Aikido and Aikishintaiso Kobayashi group, it is embroidered "Kobayashi Ryu Aikido" 小林流合気道 in black on the left shoulder.
The use of a Momen Cotton, high-end Japanese cotton, allows the weaving of Dogi very light and resistant, recommended for summer, warm countries, or for seminars.
Its honeycomb weaving structure limits contact with the practitioner's skin, allowing a greater circulation of air, and thus the evaporation of perspiration, and that the body regulates its temperature more easily.
In addition, its lighter weight, by its design, and the use of the highest quality "Momen" cotton keeps a high resistance and facilitates drying, particularly appreciated by practitioners for multi-day courses.
