This Fuchi Kashira set represents waves, a motif widely used on current sabre mounts.

  • Material: brass, silver plated Ibushi finish

  • Kashira dimensions (頭): Length 37.5 mm, Width 19.5 mm, Height 9 mm

Hiranami 平波 means 'flat waves' or 'calm waves'.
This is a copy of a work made by Koyama ‘Jozan’ Yoshikazu (古山「如山」義和), a modern craftsman classified as Mukansa.
