K036 - Musha 武者

A Japanese warrior is depicted on the Fuchi and Kashira.

• Material: Copper, fumigation finish
• Fuchi (縁) Dimensions: 40 mm long, 22 mm wide, 14 mm high
• Kashira (頭) Dimensions: 35.5mm Length, 18.5mm Width, 11mm Height

The Musha (武 者) is by definition the warrior, the fighter, whose main function finds its source on the battlefield and the follow-up of the Bushido.
This gives a (subtle) difference with the Samurai (侍), the servant of a noble superior, themselves nobles.
The spirit of the Samurai Warrior (Musha) is highlighted here in comparison to his other functions.
