More informations about this product

The Hakama Striped Tetron is ideal for daily workouts, with ease of maintenance, wrinkle-resistant, and (thermoformed) folds that stay in place.

Sakuraya Hakama Tetron テトロン is made of high quality polyester, 65% polyester and 35% rayon. This one in striped color required a very perfect weaving, yarn by yarn.

This light, striped model '縞' is offered in yellow vertical lines on a grey background and is the recommended model for teachers of Aiki Shintaiso of Kobayashi School.
Like all Hakama, the back plate (腰板 - Koshiita) is a support protecting the practitioner in his falls, while ensuring the maintenance of the Koshiita and the lumbar.
The ties (lannières) have several seams, which strengthens their support and longevity. Its folds are thermoformed (7 in number, 5 in front and 3 in back), so it doesn't lose his folds.

The straps length of the Sakuraya hakama are:
- Total front strap length 400cm
- Total rear strap length 180cm
We thank you to consider this point.

The Tetron tissue is a name for a type of durable synthetic polyester fiber that does not wrinkle and dries quickly. The fabric is also thin and light, it does not take up space. Finally, in synthetic material, it does not fade and does not shrink.
The practitioner, beginner or advanced, will appreciate the lightness of the fabric which allows a practice without feeling engorged, the hakama becoming an asset, and no longer a constraint.

Sakuraya offers us 3 Hakama finishes:
Aikidō - 合気道: Soft Koshiita / Without Koshibera / 4 Seam lines on lannies
Iaidō - 居合道: Rigid Koshiita / With Koshibera / 1 Seam lines on lannies
Kendō - 剣道: Soft Koshiita / With Koshibera / 1 Seam lines on lannies
(The Koshibera is the plastic tongue sliding into the obi to keep the Koshiita in place during practice.)
