Tanto Kurosaya

Classic knife (Tanto/Aikuchi) in kurosaya (glossy black lacquer) finishing, from Minosaka workshops.
The blade is made of Zamak, a main base alloy of Zinc and Aluminum), then chrome plated.
The Tsuka and Saya are made of Japanese Magnolia coated with real black lacquer.
This product, like all our iaito, is not sharp and not affutable.
It is a dummy weapon ideal for demonstrations and training.
Be careful though at the tip, the Kissaki is not rounded and can easily injure, to handle with care.
The maintenance is the same as for an Iaito, just a little abura on the blade is enough.
Also available in a lacquered version (Shirasaya).
