Butterfly

Incense holder Yukari Butterfly pattern (with incense holder)
Yukari (縁) means Relationship/Connection in Japanese. This is the relationship we have with our deep self.
Incense holder imported from Japan to burn incense in an easy and convenient way. Round, this incense holder is in the pattern of Kōchō (蝴 蝶), the butterfly.
In Japan, the representation of a butterfly symbolizes the feminine side because of its grace and lightness. It is also a symbol of longevity (its pronunciation is close to what means 80 years).
The Butterfly is also perceived as "the soul of the living and the dead", due to the popular belief that the spirits of the dead take the form of a butterfly on their journey to the other world and eternal life.
This incense holder can be used as such with the provided incense holder.
