A Noren (暖 簾) is a curtain split in its center. It serves as a sign on stores when it is put out, and serves to delimit parts when it is positioned inside.
On this noren, is reproduced one of the most famous Zen symbols for martial artists: the Ensō (円 相), or circle.
This circle can be closed or not. It represents the perfection (or not) of inner peace. Its imperfect beauty (Wabi Sabi), denotes and expresses impermanence, suffering and nothingness.
This Noren does not have pre-cut between its panels. As a result, the height of its panels can be adjusted as needed according to your interior, or even be used without cutting into pure wall decoration.
