Sakigawa for Shinai - Meirin
The Sakigawa is the leather covering at the end of the Shinai and allows with the Tsuru (the wire) to ensure the tension on the Shinai.
The Sakigawa is a safety piece holding the Bamboo slats, and ensuring their consistency when striking.
The Size of the Sakigawa must be adapted to the size of your Shinai, to ensure its maintenance and durability.
