This standard
Shinai Kezuri Metal is a
service tool of your Shinai to extend its life.
Very easy to use, it has a dual purpose:
- Its Plane Part on the end of the Kezuri will allow you to remove any splinters and deburr your Shinai blades that are starting to get damaged.
- Its Lime Part, spread along the tapered handle, will allow you to erase the irregularities of the blades of your Shinai that you have just planed and prevent them from damaging by smoothing them.

Advice from the Masamune Team :
- Check your Shinai, its general condition and each of its components regularly.
- Use the plane tool in one direction, usually from handle to tip.
- If a slat on your Shinai is broken, it should be replaced to avoid injury during training.
