This Tsuba represents two leaves of Bamboo, the wings Hane (羽), in circle, Tomoe (巴). The bamboo, always green even in winter, growing quickly, is a symbol of resistance and perseverance. Under the snow, he gets grumpy and then he takes his superb as soon as the snow has melted.
It represents strength: it resists the winter; flexibility: the bamboo facing the oak folds but does not break. As the leaves are represented in circle, you must associate calm and tranquility.
