Ittō Ryū Leather Tsuba for Bokken - Meirin


The Tsuba is the guard positioned on a Japanese saber. Its function is to protect the fingers of the practitioner.
These brown Ittō Ryū Leather tsuba are Maru Gata Round Shape (丸 形), which is a school specific form.
This is Hard Natural Boiled Leather. As it is Natural Leather, the coloring will always vary, so each Tsuba is unique.
The small tsuba is used for wakizashi.
The large tsuba is used for bokken.
