The Iwata Hakama Poylester B Thin is made of Tetorone, consisting of 85% polyester and 15% Lin. This light model, which is offered in the two most common colors in the Hakama’s port, blue and black, is a light model, which the manufacturer recommends for practitioners who have intensive workouts, or in summer.
Its composition containing Flax (麻), this Hakama is lighter, thinner, very slightly rough to the touch. This lightness allows the Hakama Polyester B Fin to dry faster, making it a consistent choice for warm environments and seasons.
Like all Hakama made by Iwata, the back plate (腰 板 - Koshiita) is a soft, soft rubber support, protecting the practitioner in their falls, while maintaining the Koshiita.
The links have 7 seams, strengthening their support and durability. This Hakama model is 1.9cm longer at the back for a more elegant fall from the fabric.
All models in the Iwata Polyester range have 7 thermoformed folds (distributed 5 front and 3 back), so they won’t fade even as they wash. The practitioner, beginner or advanced, will appreciate the lightness of the fabric that allows a practice without feeling engorged, the hakama becoming an asset, and no longer a constraint.
