Tsuba Dome Leather for Shinai - Meirin
The Tsuba Dome is the part (here leather) that will keep the Tsuba (guard) set up on the tsuka, whose purpose is to protect your hands.
This is the part needed to set up and maintain the Tsuba.
This type of Tsuba Dome is the most historically traditional.
Traditionally made of suede leather, it installs with the 2 leather links attached.
2 different ways:
- by placing the links through the opening before setting up the Tsuba Dome. They will then ensure the setting up of the Tsuba Dome.
- First place the Tsuba Dome, and run the cords through 2 pre-drilled holes. These links are established at the Tsuru/Tsukagawa node.

Advice from the Masamune Team :

- If your Tsuba Dome is torn or too loose, it should be replaced to avoid injury during training.
