The Meirin Basic weapon with shoulder strap is available in 2 versions:
H-4 : For 2 Shinai or 1 Set of Aikido weapons, 146cm x 10.5cm.
H-5 : For 3 Shinai or 1 Set of Aikido weapons, 148cm x 14.5cm.
Fabric: 100% Thick cotton.
Location for Label Nominative.
Low end lined in Faux Leather.
Side Opening on Top.
The upper part, when folded down, serves as a pocket to put the accessories (Tsuba and Tsubadome).

These weapon bags are composed of a 'canvas of brown sails', called 'Cha Honuno' 茶帆布.
These sail cloths are a solid canvas weave, guaranteeing solidity and durability in use.
Cha Iro 茶色 is the traditional brown color in Japan. It was obtained by a tincture with Bancha 番茶, an old tea with mature leaves, which cooked and dried are dark brown.
The green Sencha tea that is consumed today is collected earlier, and the Bancha is late harvest, around October.
